Helena travelled to Cyprus in 2024 and stayed for two months in her mother's ancestral village home in Skarinou which is now tourist accommodation.
Helena was inspired and overcome with many conflicting emotions while traversing the chalky hills of the past and meeting the locals. Helena began to write their stories that folded into her own. She is well on her way to her next publication; this one is set in beautiful Cyprus.
